I am surfing the web on a lazy Sunday. Digg.com is always my default, then I read the headline news from a couple of news sites, check my Gmail, watch Youtube, Facebook is my recent hangout, and then I let the web take me to whatever random. This is pretty much about my life on the screen.

If I let you read all my footprints on a pubic web page, that will be my own “Truman Show.” I am not interested to do that, but someone does and it has a name called “Lifestream.” Lifestream is an alternative lifestyle in the 2.0 era.
To create your own lifestream isn’t complicated. Basically all your footprints can be connected through a series of RSS feeds. All social media support RSS feed so you just need to find a way to aggregate all the feeds and display each of them on a web page. If you want to turn your WordPress blog into a lifestream, here is a plugin for you. You can share all your footprints on facebook, flickr, digg, youtube, etc, and tell everyone where you have been, what you have done. A web site called Plaxo has a solution that helps you to create lifestream much more easier.
I don’t know about you. Occasionally I will update my facebook status. But that’s my limit. That’s the tiny part of my life which I want to share with you. Other than that, well…, I am sure you won’t be interested in my truman show. Ditto.
