Darren Herman’s blog points me to an interesting piece about how Facebook’s valuation might possibly be equated.
- There are 849,142,168 installs across 16,192 apps on Facebook with over 200,000 developers currently evaluating the platform.
- These applications were used 34,175,797 times in the last 24 hours and have a combined valuation of $425,362,656.
- Facebook had approximately 68 million Unique Active Users in the past 30 days and a valuation of $20 billion.
- This translates to $300 per active user.
The site, Facebook Adonomics, they come up with a tool for Facebook Analytics. And Business 2.0 has an article about Facebook economy that shares an interesting four steps to make money from those Facebook Apps.
Emm… I just had all my Facebook applications removed. So guess I won’t be the one who contributes much on its economy, except the poking traffic.
