Competition is obviously so fierce. Microsoft has just launched a campaign, “Search, Shop and Save.” It rewards searchers with cashback savings by using Microsoft Live Search.
The campaign is actually for promoting a new advertising model of Live Search. It is purely based on CPA. I tried a search for “Macbook Air” and I got 5% discount from a supplier and $87.45 cashback from Live Search. Not bad huh.
So, forget about optimizing your pay per click, boil down, cashback could be the ultimate call-to-action.
